Spatial Consistency Test in Quality Control of Climatological Data

چکیده مقاله
Quality control (QC) of climate data is essential to ensure the reliability of
observational datasets used for climate monitoring and analysis. Among the QC
methods proposed in the literature, spatial consistency checks play an important
role by comparing a station's observations with those of nearby stations. This
paper presents a spatial consistency test focusing on the derivation of the index of agreement and the subsequent
estimation method. The operational algorithm is described step by step, and a
worked numerical example (including an artificial outlier) is provided to
illustrate the computations
